There’s now an Evers recall movement, but cooler heads must prevail

We all know that Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is committing major infringement of our Constitutional rights with his massive government overreach. This has angered many Wisconsinites to the point of talking about a recall effort.

Wisconsin is no stranger to recalls, but a recall is dangerous territory.

This could backfire. After all, it backfired on the Democrats in 2012. Many Democrats joined Republicans in supporting Scott walker in 2012 because they thought the recall was a bad idea. That recall effort set the Democrat party in Wisconsin back years.

We need to think strategically, not tactically. This could set in motion a whole slew of intended consequences.

As a purple state, Conservatives attempting a recall could drive emotions to the point of causing the Republicans to lose control of the state legislature. Imagine what Evers would do if he had a Democrat legislature rubber stamping his extremist agenda.

The party of JFK Democrats is long gone. The party has taken a major shift to the extremist Left wing. This is not hyperbole, the fact that someone like Bernie sanders could get so close to the nomination, twice, says it all. And let’s not forget, Sanders won the 2016 Wisconsin primary.

Tony Evers is nothing but a Puppet of that extremist Left wing in Wisconsin. You do not want to give him a Democrat legislature. Just take a look at the actions of Virginia’s full Democrat controlled government and you have all the information you need.

On top of that, this would greatly distract from President Trump’s reelection efforts. We need someone like President Trump to help lead us out of this economic hole due to Covid-19.  President Trump needs to be the focus, because all signs are that Wisconsin is absolutely necessary.

I am also hearing that some people higher up in the Democrat party are looking into the possibility of recalling one of the conservatives on the Supreme Court This will just add to their current power grab and will likely backfire again.

I honestly don’t know what the perfect answer is, my knee-jerk emotional reaction is that Evers has committed recallable offenses, but the timing is absolutely horrible. This must be tempered with common sense, not emotion.

In my opinion it is more important for President Trump to get reelected and for Wisconsin to keep its Republican controlled legislature as a firewall to Tony Evers’ extreme agenda. It’s not perfect but it is a firewall nonetheless.

And then on to 2022 where we will have the opportunity to replace Evers, the right way.

Cooler heads must prevail.
