Marquette Baylor accused Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., of making false statements to “cover up” actions taken by her chief of staff and to “protect her political career.”

Baylor was Baldwin’s top aide in Milwaukee until she was fired following a USA TODAY report that revealed the senator had a report raising concerns about opiate prescriptions at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tomah, Wis., for four months in 2014 but didn’t act on it despite repeated pleas from a whistleblower.

35-year-old Marine Corps veteran Jason Simcakoski died from “mixed drug toxicity” as an inpatient at Tomah.

Is Jason’s death on Tammy’s hands? Many believe yes.

Jason L. “Jake” Simcakoski Of Stevens Point passed away Saturday afternoon, August 30, 2014 at the V.A. Medical Center in Tomah, WI.

This is from Senator Ron Johnson’s website:

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined the entire Wisconsin congressional delegation in introducing a new bill to rename the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Tomah, Wisconsin after Jason Simcakoski, a Wisconsin veteran who tragically lost his life after battling addiction to opioids prescribed by the VA.

“Jason’s tragic story is also one of determination, as he alerted law enforcement authorities to the deadly opioid prescription practices at the Tomah VA Medical Center while he himself was suffering from those abuses,” the senator said. “Renaming the Tomah VA Medical Center after Jason will honor his efforts to try to save himself and other veterans from the systemic abuses that occurred and serve as a constant reminder of the duty of care owed to every veteran.”

Jason Simcakoski served in the Marine Corps and during his service, he sustained a significant head injury that required prolonged medical treatment at the Tomah VA Medical Center. Jason was overprescribed many medications, including opioids, and this eventually led to Jason’s tragic passing in 2014.

Tammy Baldwin cost Jason Simcakoski his life.

The government reached a $2.3 million settlement with survivors of a Marine veteran who died of a drug overdose at the troubled Wisconsin Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

$1.65 million went upfront to the widow and daughter of Jason Simcakoski, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who was 35 when he died in 2014 at the Tomah VA facility. Another $659,000 went into annuities for Simcakoski’s widow, Heather, and their daughter, Anaya. The rest went to attorney fees and expenses.

Do People not remember this stuff? She has got people killed and cost the Government millions of dollars.
