Gender, Bathrooms and ruling by Presidential Decree

Ever since Barrack Obama was elected President, he has always managed to find a way to interject his opinion into state business and create a new class of ‘victims.’

We saw this with the ‘Beer Summit’, immigration, and Ferguson to name a few. Each time he looked for a reason to overstep his Constitutional bounds to rule by Executive Order because, of course, everyone is a victim.

The latest distraction, to capture Obama’s attention has been the debate over North Carolina’s public bathroom law which states that transgendered people use bathrooms according to the sex on their birth certificate. The transgendered community, a tiny fraction of our population, has managed to wrestle it’s way into Obama’s heart by becoming the latest cult of ‘victimhood.’

So, instead of focusing on important issues, like immigration or the horrific economy, we are now focused on who should be allowed to use which bathroom. Clearly a new low in political discourse and that’s saying a lot for Washington DC.

Of course, the North Carolina law was immediately challenged by Attorney General Lynch stating that it’s a ‘discriminatory’ law. Normally, issues like this would make their way through the court system, but why follow the Constitution when you can just issue an order?

Staying true to the Rahm Immanuel tradition of not letting a good crisis go to waste, President Obama spoke from high upon the ‘Presidential throne.’

Obama issued his ‘royal Presidential decree’ stating that all public schools in the country allow students to use the restroom of the gender identity or risk losing the opioid of Federal funding. This also includes locker rooms. As usual, Obama has forgotten that we have an actual process defined in the Constitution, what’s more, this is plain extortion.

Like it or not, public schools depend on the ‘opioid’ of Federal funding, and Obama knows that. After all, his party is the one that made the schools dependent on that funding and he is using it to strong arm schools into submission.

The fact that a bureaucrat from Washington can issue an order with no hearings or local interaction is a blatant abuse of power.

If this order stands, we may as well ban local school boards since there will be no reason for them.

This has to be stopped now, or imagine the precedent this would be setting. It wouldn’t be too far fetched for some Liberal women’s group to bring suit for banning all urinals because they discriminate against women.

Even worse, the Transgendered community could try to make the Rocky Horror Picture show required viewing in Kindergarten. In today’s politically correct world, things like this are not too far out of the realm of possibility.

Obama needs to let the courts settle this, but the fact that it is even in court is troubling. The Tenth Amendment is being whittled away by Obama’s constant ruling by Executive Order.

We are citizens, not ‘loyal subjects’ to be pawns at the President’s pleasure. Hopefully the courts will see fit to strike down Obama’s edict and save us from this nonsense. January 20th cannot come soon enough.
