The April 4 election includes two binding constitutional amendment questions concerning bail that would amend section 8 (2) of article I of the Wisconsin Constitution. The first ballot question seeks to amend the type of harm a judge may consider when ordering non-monetary bail conditions to protect the community. The second ballot question seeks to expand criteria judges may consider when ordering cash bail.
Over the next several days, you will get that knock on the door. And when the 'nice' person on the other side tells you that they are running for office and would like your vote, ask them about their party or ideology. Trust me on this.

A certain amount of equality in the education system is not only beneficial but mandatory. Certainly, each child should be given the same resources, and the same level playing field which allows them the chance for success. Unfortunately, instead of constantly raising the stakes and pushing students forward, the general trend in education calls for all students to be pulled down to a lower level to account for the cognitive variations amongst student populations.
