In fairness to the new WISGOP Chairman, Brian Schimming, he inherited quite a mess when he took over in December. The party was broke, had no ability to prevent or mediate an ugly and expensive Supreme Court primary, and the grassroots was demoralized from another series of statewide losses last November. That said, those who think the new RPW Chairman is beyond contestation are sadly mistaken.
Conservatives in Wisconsin have lost nearly everything since 2018. So rather than exclusively hyper-focusing on the candidate's faults, it's time to take that proverbial look in the mirror. Collectively we are failing, and for what? To satisfy some hurt egos?
The democrats are running their campaign based upon people’s fears. They push an agenda of loss, erroneously claiming that Republicans are constantly attempting to steal something from you. They want you to believe that you are oppressed, and they push this narrative exclusively by playing up to people's fears. If the Democratic party can keep you stuck in a mindset of victimhood, they think they will be able to scare you into their cult of indoctrination.

Unsurprisingly, the Left IMMEDIATELY turned to their 'tried-and-true' method of campaigning. Every Protasiewicz ad on TV or on the radio has been desperately trying to paint the blatantly FALSE narrative that Dan Kelly is somehow anti-woman because of blah blah blah abortion rhetoric blah. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.
It's no surprise to anyone that Republicans and Conservatives have been struggling in statewide races for the past several years. Fortunately for us, not all counties are doing as pathetic as Dane or Milwaukee. It's because of Waukesha County, the biggest of the 'WOW' Counties, that we are even within striking distance. Without it, Wisconsin would be deep blue and not purple.
Tuesday night's Supreme Court Primary results show that Waukesha County is still doing its part for Wisconsin. Waukesha County numbers for both Conservatives combined came in at 64.35%.
I want to congratulate Dan Kelly on his primary win last night as he advances to the general election in April. I also want to thank Judge Jennifer Dorow for running an honest, classy campaign. She was eloquent in her concession speech and IMMEDIATELY and UNEQUIVOCALLY endorsed Dan Kelly. She stayed above the fray the whole time I look forward to her next chapter.
'Daniel Kelly has stated that he will not endorse Jennifer Dorow if she wins the primary election. Jennifer Dorow has made it very clear that if she loses the primary, she will endorse Daniel Kelly. I find her answer to this question to be a much more mature approach, and quite frankly, shows she has a greater understanding of what is at stake in this election.'
In a nutshell, Shelly Grogan needs to stop it…NOW! This is doing the conservative cause a great disservice by going negative. She should stick to the positive things about Dan Kelly, the negativity is completely unnecessary.
Both Dan Kelly and Jennifer Dorow are HIGHLY QUALIFIED to serve on the Supreme Court. While I am clearly supporting Jennifer Dorow, because the is an excellent choice and has the statewide appeal to win, I have absolutely no issue supporting Kelly should he win.
Kelly could do the right thing for the conservative movement and step aside and endorse Dorow now. Scott Walker did this for Mark Green in 2006 and it set him up to become Governor in 2010.
If conservatives lose in April, EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORKED FOR WILL GO AWAY. Things like School Choice, Concealed Carry, Right to Work, Act 10, Voter ID, ALL GONE! This also makes the court the quasi-legislature for Tony Evers.
So it begins, the digging into thousands of Circuit Court Judge Jennifer Dorow’s decisions over the years. Those on the Left, and disappointingly, many on the Right, will take anything out of context to take her down politically.
